Jazz and Shallowness

This is kind of sad. What could have been an interesting discussion of music and culture turned out to be shallower than a Ken Burns movie. My guess is, Lydon was taking by the flattery. And the accent.
I'll nurture my own accent but I won't lick anyone's boots.

    Wow, it is pretty sad. I'm not sure if he was taken... he sounds pretty confused. Maybe a combination of being unprepared and not understanding the accent? He keeps stuttering, hopefully it's not something going wrong with his health... anyways, I feel sorry for the guest because he keeps trying to go a bit deeper, and he's obviously enthused, but the host continues to interrupt with his really surface questions.

  2. I almost withdrew my comment because I don't like sounding too snarky. But, to me, Jazz can be treated in a much more thoughtful way.
    What I find sadder is that, apparently, people enjoyed the show. Of course, the excerpts were well-chosen. But there are so many people who know Jazz so much better than this...
